Meet Our Team

Michael serves as an Admissions Coordinator with Karis Care Services. He was raised in Roanoke, Virginia by a family devoted to in-home care for senior adults, which shaped his lifelong appreciation for compassionate and relationship-centered service. Michael comes to Karis from the field of education, where he worked as a teacher, coach, and admissions representative at a boarding school, guiding families through meaningful and often difficult decisions.

His work is grounded in a faith-based calling to honor elders and care for those who can no longer care for themselves, and he is passionate about helping families find peace of mind through high-quality care for their loved ones. Outside of work, Michael enjoys woodworking, reading, caring for his two dogs, and exploring Virginia’s historic landscape with his wife.
